Where can I check my Mothercare gift card balance?

You can check the balance of the card by handing it over to a member of staff at any Mothercare store.

You can check the balance of the card by calling Mothercare on 0844 875 5166 (this number is operated by Mothercare.  Calls will cost 5p per minute plus your network provider’s access charge).

Where can I buy Mothercare gift cards?

You can buy Mothercare gift cards at any branch of Mothercare.  They are supplied with one of a selection of free gift cards.  Click here to find your nearest Mothercare store.

You can also pick up Mothercare gift cards in-store at major supermarkets, including Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

You can purchase Mothercare giftcards to be sent to you or direct to your recipient at their official gift card site –  There is a postage charge for this service which starts at £2.

Where can I spend my Mothercare giftcards?

As you might expect all branches of Mothercare in the UK accept Mothercare gift cards – as does the Early Learning Centre (ELC).  It can also be used on the Mothercare website.

Anything else I should know?

The card will expire after 24 months if it is not used for a purchase, top-up or balance enquiry.  If the card expires you will lose the balance on it.  If you are concerned that the card will expire, just perform a balance enquiry to restart the clock on it.

In-store, Mothercare offer a price-match service and will happily match prices you see on – which is worth knowing!

Online, Mothercare have introduced a new range of maternity wear in partnership with BooHoo.
